Indy Voices & C.O.P. Inc, otherwise known as In-Voices, is a community-based music and outreach initiative created to give voice, hope, and belonging to individuals and families across our city.

Through choir, music education, community performances, and outreach events, In-Voices seeks to create a safe and welcoming space where people from different backgrounds can come together, grow in confidence, and build positive community relationships.

In-Voices is built on the belief that music is more than a performance—it is a powerful tool for healing, unity, and community transformation.

Why In-Voices Matters

Many individuals and families in our communities' face challenges that extend far beyond access to the arts. Issues such as substance addiction, domestic and sexual abuse, economic hardship, and housing insecurity often leave people isolated, unsupported, and without safe spaces to heal and rebuild.

In-Voices was created to respond to these realities through compassionate, community-centered outreach that meets people where they are.

In-Voices addresses these needs by:

  1. providing inclusive and supportive music and choir programs that promote healing, confidence, and belonging,

  2. offering safe and welcoming environments for individuals and families impacted by addiction, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and other life-disrupting challenges,

  3. providing opportunities whereby our youth can be equipped with the right tools to build themselves up physiologically and mentally.

  4. partnering with community organizations, churches, and service providers to help connect participants with support resources,

  5. creating outreach initiatives that serve individuals experiencing economic hardship and housing insecurity, and

  6. Encouraging dignity, hope, and restoration through meaningful community engagement.

Music serves as a powerful bridge—opening doors to conversation, connection, and support for those who may otherwise remain unseen or unheard.

Our vision

To strengthen communities by creating inclusive music programs and outreach opportunities that encourage personal growth, community connection, and positive social impact. To create a safe space for those suffering from any, or all form of addiction and/or abuse; to provide some form of counseling, and in extreme cases, escalate such cases to organizations more equipped to deal with them.

To dedicate our services to Youth Development & Empowerment; for we understand that saying the youth are the future goes way beyond just talk. We want to be able to spring into action by working with the young people in our community by bringing back debate clubs, scrabble and chess clubs, amongst other activities that will all be geared towards improving the intellect of our youth.

Lastly, we recognize that there are people in our communities who still sleep on park benches or under the bridges or underpass in the scorching summer heat, or in the brutal winter cold; and in whatever little ways we can be of assistance to the less fortunate in our communities, we will endeavor to equipped ourselves to be in such positions
